There are many reasons why young individuals should attend driving schools. The foremost amongst these reasons is that students need instruction in driving. It is that simple, really. Scotland has seat-belt laws, as does the rest of the United Kingdom, and it was widely thought that these laws were being adhered to. However, it appears that not as many people are following the laws as we might hope. Almost five-hundred individuals were arrested in a nationwide sweep of Scotland, most of them drivers and a few of them passengers.

The crackdown, which took place on 11 May and was aimed at promoting road safety, also saw officers detect 264 speeding offences, with five people reported for dangerous driving and a further three for careless driving.

Ch Supt Charlie Common, of Lothian and Borders Police, said the figures were of “great concern”.

“These figures are extremely disappointing and reinforce the need for campaigns,” he said.

Most police forces in England and Wales have adopted new speeding guidelines that allow motorists to do up to 86mph and avoid points on their licence.

Frankly, it sounds like the measure made pretty much everyone unhappy. You know what they say about compromises–that’s when no one gets what they want. Later on the article a driving instructor says that less people are taking lessons because of the high cost associated with fuel, which seems like sound enough logic to me. So now fuel prices are affecting whether the pupils attend the best driving school, or some lesser one, because of cost–that is not what we want.

Recently, the agency released a glut of information regarding drivers and various lessons and testing records. She passed just a few weeks before her 50th birthday.

This is a pretty impressive, and scary, record. I would not like, very much, to be in the car with the woman who needed 330 lessons and 48 tests before she was allowed to drive. The best driving school money can buy would still have a problem with such students.

This story about young students at school using a high tech simulator for driving education is encouraging. The best driving instructor would probably commend this act. The simulator seems to have worked, capturing the attentions of several younger students in the process who claimed that it felt just like driving a real car, though–to be fair–how woule they know?

Modules available include basic training, initial assessment, advanced driving, hazard perception, UK road signs and rules and darkness education and the computerised machine can even identify how many lessons a pupil will need before sitting their test.

The best driving lessons are those that are paid attention to. Being able to offer your students a legitimate experience like that is part of what it takes to win would-be customers over.

The British School of Motoring is one of the largest driving schools in the United Kingdom. The British Schools of Motoring was sold to the AA after being in administration. However, this article says that the British School of Motoring will continue to operate independently of AA.

The British School of Motoring has changed direction again, after being acquired through a pre-pack administration by the AA, in a deal that brings the UK’s two biggest driving schools under one roof.

Acromas, the private equity controlled group that owns the AA, said it would keep BSM and its 2,100 franchisee driving instructors as a separate company to its AA driving school, which has fewer than 2,000 instructors.

The best driving lessons come from driving schools that are innovative, committed, and have experienced instructors. It is hard to say which is the best driving school, but keeping all of these schools separate will allow them to continue to compete against each other.
